This is a 16 month contract opportunity. Support the Fixed Income Team in meeting its objectives of providing beta exposure to sectors of the Canadian and US government bond markets, recouping allocated expenses/trading costs, and proving liquidity for asset mix trades. As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible For: Portfolio Management – monitor, analyze performance, risk, rebalancing and implementation of investment strategies Conduct comprehensive research on fixed income markets to support investment decisions Risk Management – identify and mitigate risks associated with fixed income investments, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements Trade Execution – conducting transactions in Canadian and US short term money market securities, and similar instruments, for multiple money market accounts Collaborate within the TPCM/Investment team and across the firm with Risk, Treasury, Investment Finance, Performance Client Services, IT. What do you need to succeed? Minimum of 1-2 years experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other relevant field of study Knowledge of Interest Rate markets Strong analytical and quantitative skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrated experience using software tools including Python, SQL, Bloomberg Experience in using data platforms such as Snowflake We thank all applicants, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
