Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician (Matching) on a temporary basis on our Corporate Accounting team (term up to 6 months).
This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week

What you’ll do:
Match supplier and interbranch invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies using appropriate GL coding.
Prepare and process supplier claims, including damages, shortages, manual adjustments, and journal entries.
Collaborate with FCL commodities and distribution centers to ensure timely, accurate matching and issue resolution with vendors.
Support the Accounts Payable team in identifying and clearing system mismatches and investigating claim disputes.
Other duties as required.

You will work closely with 4 other Accounting Technicians and will be part of a larger team of a larger team of professionals reporting to the Accounting Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of teamwork and conversation, helping to share the workload to meet stakeholder needs.

Have a high school diploma, two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution, and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
