Role: The Team Lead Financial Reporting Analyst reports to the AVP Finance and works closely with two others Financial Analyst. The incumbent will be responsible to prepare and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all external financial statements and month end financial close as well as to assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package for the Executive team and support external and internal audits.
Your Day with Equisoft:
Involved in the preparation and review of the company’s monthly consolidated financial statements (income statement, financial position, cash flow) comprising multiple entities in different countries and currencies
Prepare and review consolidation journal entries
Prepare and review complex accounting journal entries
Analyze and reconcile the financial statement accounts under your responsibility
Prepare the group consolidated financial statements and other statutory financial statements
Participate in the close process improvement project and implement the improvement initiatives for the Consolidation group
Interact with the different business units, corporate departments and external auditors
Participate in various special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses.
Involved in the redaction of accounting memo and accounting positions for the Group
Requirements:
Technical
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with CPA, CFA or MBA
At least 4-6 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IFRS is required.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent knowledge of English & French (spoken and written)

Nice to Haves:
Experience with Netsuite
Experience in IFRS 15 within the professional service industry
Experience in one of the Big six accounting agencies (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, RCGT or MNP)
Experience in multi-site and multi-currency entity
