The Development Lead provides the structure, discipline, and accountability required to ensure every product and service is strategically aligned, scalable, and effectively delivered. This role serves as the central driver of product lifecycle execution, including ownership of pricing strategy and POC evaluation.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision & Strategy
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with ET Group’s business goals
• Develop product strategy documents, including business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI analysis
• Partner with Lead Links to ensure service portfolios continue evolving to meet customer and market needsLifecycle Management
• Drive execution across the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement
• Maintain product documentation, timelines, and implementation plans
• Ensure offerings are fully prepared and enabled for internal teams and customer deliveryPricing & Market Alignment
• Own pricing strategy, ensuring offerings remain competitive while supporting ET Group’s business objectives
• Collaborate with the Product Marketing Lead to align packaging and positioning with pricing decisions
• Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies to ensure ongoing relevancePOC & New Product Evaluation
• Lead evaluation and coordination of Proofs of Concept (POCs) and new product assessments
• Ensure technical feasibility, business viability, and customer alignment before adoption
• Collaborate with SMEs, Product Marketing Lead, and Customer Experience Lead to validate POCs and decide go/no-goCross-Team Collaboration
• Work closely with SMEs for technical depth and feasibility
• Partner with the Product Marketing Lead for go-to-market readiness
• Integrate feedback from the Customer Experience Lead to refine solutions
• Collaborate with Growth & Innovation Lead Link to set priorities and allocate resources effectivelyQualificationsRequired
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B product management, preferably in the AV, SaaS, or technology sector
• Proven success managing cross-functional product development lifecycles from strategy through launch
• Strong understanding of pricing models, product-market fit, and go-to-market planning
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills – able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to own roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and drive accountability across teams
• Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum) and product documentation toolsDesired
• Experience working in or with integrators or AV solution providers
• Knowledge of collaboration technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, UC&C ecosystems)
• Exposure to human-centered design or customer journey mapping
• Familiarity with product analytics and feedback loops (NPS, CSAT, churn, etc.)
• Previous experience working in a flat or self-managed organization is a plusAdditional Information?Further Details: Annual salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 CAD per year.
