The Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre (BSRC) is looking for a Guest Services Representative (GSR) II to continually amplify the front reception experience! This facility features an NHL-sized ice rink, with seating for spectators, fieldhouse that can accommodate indoor soccer, lacrosse, and host events; a gymnasium that can accommodate multi-court play; climbing-wall; running/walking track; concession, multi-purpose rooms, tuck shops; and of course, an aquatic centre.

Our GSR II’s work part-time between 20-29 hours per week.
What YOU’RE Responsible for:
Interacting with facility patrons in a friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient manner
Course overrides and booking cancellations
Assisting with accounting, reporting, and software maintenance and upgrades
Identifying guest retention opportunities
Listening to the needs of the facility patrons, providing detailed information regarding programs, products, services, and events, and proactively addressing concerns
Processing new membership sales, point of sales transactions, and balancing the cash register
Registering patrons in recreation programs
Taking pride in every aspect of your work and performing tasks with energy and enthusiasm
Ensuring adherence to Legislative regulations, Safety Directives and procedures and all respectful workplace standards.
Reporting unsafe conditions and near miss incidents promptly.
Attending regular safety meetings and promote a positive attitude.

What YOU Bring:
Exceptional customer service experience by addressing customer needs and ensuring they have a great experience every time they visit
Ability to meet the shift requirements; shifts WILL include early mornings opening the facility, late evenings closing the facility, weekends, and holidays.
Exceptional problem solving skills and the capability to respond quickly to issues or concerns
Successfully perform multiple tasks at the same time; be able to engage the customer in front of you and handle inbound calls
A clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check
Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Word and Outlook. Previous experience with Intelligenz recreation software considered an asset.
First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to acquire at your own cost)
What WE Offer:
A salary range of $17.49 - $22.82/hour depending on qualifications and experience
Between 20-29 hours per week.
