Your Opportunity
Stantec Consulting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical ITS AutoCAD Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of drafting experience in consulting engineering. The ideal candidate will possess an Electrical Technologist diploma and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation software. This role involves creating detailed electrical drawings and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Your Key Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD/MicroStation to create and design electrical drawings for projects in transit, transportation, highway lighting, traffic signals municipal projects from general engineering and design information according to established standard and procedures.
Develop product design which meet client requirements and adhere to a high standard of form, function, appearance and quality.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards.
Review and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Assist in the design and drafting of electrical systems for various projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain and update project documentation and drawings.
Perform lighting calculations using software is preferred.
