Pilates Reformer Instructor - Mississauga, ON Part-time, 1-2 classes/week HealthFitness is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Reformer Pilates principles and techniques, with the ability to inspire and motivate clients of all skill levels. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating clients on proper form, technique, and the benefits of Pilates, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. Job Details Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere. Educate clients on the fundamentals of Reformer Pilates, including proper alignment, breathing techniques, and core engagement. Demonstrate exercises clearly while providing modifications to accommodate various fitness levels. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide personalized feedback. Manage class schedules efficiently, ensuring timely start and end times for each session. Foster strong customer service relationships by being approachable, friendly, and responsive to client needs. Lead by example through positive leadership skills that encourage client participation and retention. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before, during, and after classes. Minimum Requirements Current Pilates Reformer certification required. Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (Level C) from Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance required prior to start date. Previous experience as a Reformer Pilates Instructor is preferred. Strong time management skills to effectively coordinate class schedules Excellent customer service abilities to create an inviting atmosphere for all participants. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate clients throughout their fitness journey. Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner for clients of varying backgrounds. Ability to teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Pilates reformer classes. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $60 - $75/Class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
