Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Junior Inspector to conduct fieldwork to complement our team in the Toronto office. The Junior Inspector will play a lead role in the delivery of environmental assessment and functional/preliminary and detail design assignments primarily for public sector clients. Due to expanding business opportunities in Ontario and elsewhere within the company, this position offers growth in the areas of technical/professional development and project management.
Your Key Responsibilities
Carry out inspection activities to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Conduct site surveys to gather information on site conditions, materials, and equipment.
Search for physical survey evidence (e.g., building ties, monuments, fences) and determine its adequacy.
Obtain additional survey evidence as required and assess when sufficient data has been collected.
Perform basic analysis of field data using standard inspection procedures and practices.
Assist in compiling field data and preparing reports for review by the design team.
Support checkers by collecting and organizing delivery tickets from truck operators.
Conduct ongoing tonnage checks and verify material deliveries.
Ensure tare and final weight measurements are properly documented.
