Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a vital part in delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients on a range of projects, including mechanical equipment assessments, HVAC system design consulting, build system consulting for new construction, depreciation reports, warranty reviews, and so much more. General Responsibilities:

Marketing: Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants.
Knowledge Development: Enhance your understanding of building science, life cycle analysis and costing while sharing insights and lessons learned with the team.
Technical Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications
Conduct site evaluations and mechanical assessments
Contribute to mechanical report writing
Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication
Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards
Other duties as assigned/required
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
AutoCAD experience is a must
Proven experience in mechanical systems design for buildings, building systems, life cycle analysis, and cost estimation
Registered with or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset
Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required
