As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of automated production lines and industrial equipment in a food-grade environment. You will play a key role in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity while maintaining strict compliance with food safety standards. This is a full-time permanent role. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across the production lines and throughout the facility. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement timely solutions to reduce downtime. Work closely with the production team to prioritize and complete work orders safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and parts inventory. Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades. Follow and enforce all safety, GMP, and food safety protocols. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Red Seal Millwright Certification is required. Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or other regulated environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and packaging equipment. Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and circuit diagrams and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues Preference for welding experience (Tig, Mig, and Stick) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Solid understanding of safety practices and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Valid G level driver’s license. Strong computer skills (MS Office, maintenance software) Able to work well on your own and as part of a team. Comfortable in an industrial environment (dust, smoke, grease, noise, fumes, chemicals, etc.). Includes indoor and outdoor work. Physical able to perform work, inclusive of standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting, hand dexterity, and stamina.
