Location: Remote with possible hybrid 1-day in office
Status: Contract
Responsibilities:
Analytical Expertise:
Proficient in SQL for data querying
Identify business questions and develop analytical approaches to address them
Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders and executives
Distill large datasets into concise, meaningful takeaways
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for database updates
Assist data teams in root cause analysis (RCA) for issues and bugs
Campaign Activation and Enablement:
Assess data requirements for 1:1 marketing campaigns and ensure data readiness for smooth execution, including test/control design and success metrics
Analyze audience segmentation opportunities to enhance fan engagement
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Track the effectiveness of go-to-market (GTM) strategies using KPIs and attribution models
Evaluate progress toward fanbase growth objectives
Deliver regular performance reports to senior leadership
Participate in strategic discussions and provide insights to stakeholders, including VP-level executives
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with marketing, international, legal, and other teams to align on strategy and execution
Promote a collaborative culture that values knowledge sharing and innovation
Work with data engineering to define business requirements
Coordinate with third-party vendors on data definitions and needs
GTM Strategy Support:
Collaborate with regional teams to develop analytics and segmentation plans tailored to local GTM strategies
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics
Design audience segments and marketing initiatives that reflect regional preferences
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL, Python, or similar coding languages
At least 5 years of experience managing stakeholder relationships
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with consent management and identity resolution
Deep interest in sports and awareness of global fan cultures
Background in marketing or GTM analytics
