Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.
We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Managing access to the mailroom, providing front-desk reception services related to mail inquiries, and handling the logging, sorting, and distribution of mail to building clients.
Knowledge of client processes and procedures, information up to PROTECTED B to log mail and redirect as required.
Managing multiple software platforms.
Answering emails and completing log entries along
Emergency procedures activation.
Conducting patrols.
Operate Motorola radio.
Building safety, facilities and post orders knowledge.
WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US:
MUST Ontario Security Guard License
MUST Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
MUST be able to obtain Security Clearance- minimum 10 Years of Residency in Canada
Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently)
Ability to write reports, analyze facts and issues
Good computer skills with MS Office suite
