Join Our Team – Maintenance Coordinator The Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to support our Facilities Department full-time. This is a pivotal role that combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with administrative coordination and communication duties. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing maintenance operations while ensuring a high standard of safety, service, and presentation throughout the property. This role includes coordinating work orders, managing maintenance logs, scheduling inspections, assisting in inventory tracking, and maintaining communication between the maintenance team and other departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Receive, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders using internal tracking systems Perform basic property maintenance and inspections in guest rooms, common areas, and building exteriors Coordinate and monitor daily tasks and preventive maintenance programs Maintain accurate records of repairs, equipment service history, and supply inventory Support the Maintenance Manager with vendor communications, quotes, and scheduling third-party services Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and internal policies Assist with small-scale renovations, painting, and repair projects Oversee regular pool and hot tub maintenance, testing, and compliance reporting Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure proper storage Provide clear, consistent communication with hotel departments regarding maintenance-related impacts or projects Participate in seasonal preparations and set-up/tear-down of hotel spaces Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in a maintenance, facilities, or trades-related role Administrative or coordination experience is a strong asset Familiarity with property management systems or maintenance tracking software preferred Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems Strong time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working indoors/outdoors Working Conditions Dynamic hotel and resort environment Exposure to indoor/outdoor conditions and seasonal weather Must be flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays Frequent interaction with guests, colleagues, and external vendors About Us The Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a luxury ski-in/ski-out property at the base of North America’s most vertical resort.
