Combined Metal Industries (CMI for short!) sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!
Job Summary
CMI is looking for a new employee to join our Maintenance Team. In this role you will repair and maintain various types of forklift trucks.

Key Responsibilities
Repair and maintain various types of forklift trucks.
Tests forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly
Install, remove and/or repair attachments and accessories such as clamps, side shifters, push/pulls, lights and audible devices as required.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair batteries and chargers as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years’ experience as a forklift technician or auto mechanic
Completion of forklift truck mechanics training course an asset.
Ability to use hand and power tools to repair forklift trucks.
Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklift trucks.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
