NIPG Hamilton is looking for a 433A licensed Millwright to join their team.
Purpose: Support Nucor Insulated Panel Group with machine repair, maintenance and trouble shooting. Assist in the design, development, installation of machine guards and safety devices. Advise Maintenance Manager for machine deficiencies and consumables.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate conduct consistent with NIPG’s vision and values.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure safe, optimum functioning equipment, systems and processes.
Troubleshoot, repair, modify equipment to maintain workplace safety and production efficiency.
Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
Generate parts lists for maintenance and repairs.
Train key shop teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment.
Maintain repair records on Manager plus.
Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform all duties and responsibilities with safety at the forefront of all decision making.
Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be 433A licensed
Candidates will be required to complete the Nucor evaluation process and a mechanical aptitude test.
Minimum 10 years’ experience working on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance repairs.
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Self-starter and ownership of work.
Special Demands
Overtime hours will be required.
Must adhere to Nucor and OH&S standards.
Physical Demands
Heavy lifting may be necessary.
Working conditions may be noisy, dusty, hot, cold.
