The Industrial Engineer is responsible for initiating changes to ensure the continuous improvement and optimization of our production methods, considering the human, economic and technical aspects of our organization. The tasks related to the role of Industrial Engineer can be diverse and require initiative, originality, creativity, and an excellent ability to lead teams to achieve the expected results.
Responsibilities
Work at optimizing production and assist in solving technical and operational problems.
Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas for improvement.
Anticipate future needs and make recommendations to the team on future improvements to be implemented.
Perform work process analysis
Participate in the implementation of New Manufacturing Equipment:
Design layout and setup manufacturing workflow
Oversee the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
Participate in the production ramp-up planning
Plant Layout Modification including analyzing current plant layout and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement new plant layouts to optimize production flow and efficiency. Ensure that all modifications comply with safety and regulatory standards.

(Advanced level of English is required)

Willingness to travel as needed and ability to travel to USA
Experience and Training
Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Member of OIQ – an asset
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering.
Proficiency in English is required for this role as approximately 50% of the responsibilities involve regular communication with stakeholders based in the United States and Europe.
