Lead, Supply Chain Integration Delivery
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is a national, not-for-profit, shared services organization that supports hundreds of health care providers across Canada, as well as child welfare agencies and other public sector organizations. MMC provides value-driven contracting and procurement solutions for medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceutical products, local sourcing, capital (equipment, FF&E and redevelopment) and nutrition solutions. Other services include data analytics, in-hospital support, warehousing/logistics, technology, procure-to-pay, and accounts payable.
With an emerging focus on sustainability and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, MMC is actively supporting the creation of a resilient value chain that incorporates environmental, social and governance best practices. Based in Burlington, ON, the organization also has offices in Toronto, Thunder Bay, Kingston, Brantford, London and Chatham, and a distribution centre in Oakville.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Lead, Supply Chain Integration Delivery to support our Business Development team.
Position Overview
Lead, support and implement strategic projects and processes to accelerate and enable the business strategy, goals, and integration efforts of Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC). The Lead of Supply Chain Integration Delivery actively participates in the development and implementation of business processes, new business and operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to implement supply chain improvement initiatives, such as demand forecasting, inventory management and supplier performance management.
Communication with all stakeholders and provide ongoing updates, guidance, and assistance
Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcome
Track project performance to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
Create and maintain project documentation
Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and document data standards for new business units in line with current MMC data standards
Develop and conduct training for sourcing team members to support efficient, standard work in-line with best practices and procurement guidelines
Develop and support documentation of standard master process for implementation
Lead, Manage and Implement strategic projects in support of corporate business plans
Provide training and team support as required
Qualifications and Skills
Skills and Competencies
Experience with competitive public tendering processes, negotiation, change management, managing conflict and timelines.
Required aptitudes include excellent communication skills, ERP and database system acumen and positive customer service attitude.
Education, Training, and Experience
Mandatory
Post secondary degree
8 – 10 years in Sourcing and/or relevant project experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Experience with hands on exposure to SSO/GPO or healthcare supply chain/procurement, especially managing a competitive process, contracts and resources.
Experience with data analysis and ability to provide actionable intelligence based on data to provide recommendations yielding system value
Ability to develop and document process maps and apply process improvement methodologies
Ability to develop and conduct training programs for a multitude of stakeholders and learning styles
Experience in a supervisory role, management role preferred
Ability to lead multi-discipline project teams.
Ability to interact with all levels of internal staff, hospital staff, clinicians, external stakeholders, suppliers.
Team player, sense of urgency, strong communicator, resourceful, time management, integrity.
Customer centric “mindset”. Customer service orientated for ensuring an enhanced
MS Office, business - advanced knowledge.
Power BI, Access, or equivalent database system experience – advanced knowledge
Developing/conducting presentations– advanced knowledge.
Project Management training, and experience with Project Management software.
Conflict resolution training.
Negotiation training.
Business writing
Preferred
Knowledge of contract management & BPS/CFTA Guidelines
Knowledge of Innovative procurement experience
Travel
Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required.
