Our office is located at 100 University Avenue, which is conveniently located within the Financial District of Downtown Toronto, near Union Station and the TTC.Job DescriptionThe purpose of this role is to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of our software and processes using modern engineering practices with continuous deployment of high quality software code.What your day to day will look like:Building new, improving and maintaining existing frontend componentsConversion of wireframes and mock-ups into fully functioning app featuresImplementing the structure and design of web app sectionsDeveloping features to enhance the user experienceAutomating tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingSupporting validation and verification testingDelivery of cross-browser compatibility for the platformCreation and maintenance of software documentationOptimising web pages for maximum speed and scalabilityCommitting to support a safe, mindful, and productive team environment, maintaining open, honest, and respectful communicationLearn from others and mentor those around you to help them growPlay an important role in shaping the technical direction of frontend developmentHow we do it:Building high quality, clean, efficient, and reusable code for future useCollaborating with internal teams including other developers, designers, product managers and client-facing employeesCommunicating design ideas and approaches to enhancing the platformEnsuring user experience determines design choices.Collaborating with vendors to fix and improve productsOur stack:Single page app: TypeScript, React, Chakra, React-hook-form.
