Your Impact
As a Senior Solution Engineer at Deliverect, you will work directly with some of
the world’s leading restaurant and grocery/c-store brands, such as Burger King,
KFC, Taco Bell, Little Caesars, Carl’s Jr, Hyvee, OneStop and many others.
You’ll also work closely with a global team of talented engineers, sales
professionals, and industry partners, with exposure to numerous technology
stacks and environments.
Providing pre-sales technical and functional expertise to help our customers
design high-quality solution architectures which streamline operations, improve
profits, and scale across multiple channels. Bringing previous experience
supporting large-scale restaurant or retail engagements, you understand the
complexities of high-volume, multi-location environments and can speak the
language of digital and operational excellence.
You'll demonstrate why using Deliverect, a proven, industry-leading solution
trusted by over 60,000+ locations worldwide, is the best alternative for the
customer’s business objectives.

A Typical Day
- You will be a thought leader and advisor for our customers and prospects,
including 1st party / owned digital channels, 3rd party / marketplaces like
DoorDash and UberEats, eCommerce trends and architectures, best practices and
patterns for integration, workflow and data management, and advisement on
when and how to leverage AI, automation, and analytics capabilities via our
product suite.
- You will drive deep API Conversations on capabilities, architecture, and best
practices to help customers understand how our solutions integrate seamlessly
to complement their existing ecosystem.
- Prepare and conduct interactive in-person whiteboard sessions with prospects
to map out architecture, integration points, and technical strategies.
- Develop detailed architectural documentation that clearly articulates
technical solutions and strategies, including target-state and
transition-states.
- Implement structured approaches to technical discovery meetings, ensuring
that customer pain points and requirements are fully understood and
addressed.
- Effectively navigate internal and external stakeholder relationships,
balancing the needs of sales, product, engineering, and executive teams to
drive deals forward.
- Support RFx responses following technical presentations and demonstrations.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team
environment.
- Design, configure, and lead proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot programs to
validate our solution’s fit and value for strategic accounts.
- You will focus on customer success and creatively address technical
challenges to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers, building
the relationships over time at all levels.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has 10+ years of technical experience, ideally 5+ years in a Solution / Sales
Engineering, Engineering Lead, Architect or similar technical customer-facing
role.
- Demonstrates strong expertise in digital experiences, API architectures,
cloud platforms and microservices-based solutions.
- Strikes a unique balance between deep technical understanding, driving
digital commerce and building strong relationships.
- Thrives in conducting technical whiteboarding sessions and translating
complex technical concepts into clear, compelling presentations.
- Is proficient in creating technical diagrams and solution architectures.
- Has a proven track record of leading technical discovery meetings and
aligning solutions to customer and business needs.
- Manages and influences multiple stakeholders across various functions, both
internally and externally.
- Has hands-on experience setting up and executing POCs and pilot programs.
- Can demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, with the
ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
preferred.

- This is a full-time which can be based throughout the East Coast US.
