We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Support Engineer to join our Customer
Experiences team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in
maintaining the production stability of our React Native mobile application.
This position offers the opportunity to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize a
large-scale mobile app, ensuring a smooth and reliable experience for our users.

Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices,
including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and
password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks
impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted,
ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA,
etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information
lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities
- Triage, investigate, and resolve complex non-codefix issues in the React
Native mobile application for both iOS and Android platforms
- Analyze and debug connectivity issues between the mobile app and backend
services, focusing on the front-end request/response cycle
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to global service integrations, such as
Google Maps, OAuth, and biometric authentication
- Use AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to review logs, track
performance, and proactively identify potential issues
- Determine when issues require code changes and escalate with thorough
technical analysis
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base with troubleshooting guides, issue
resolutions, and FAQs
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of front-end development experience
- Proven hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting mobile applications
built with React Native
- Strong understanding of both iOS and Android platforms, including
configurations, permissions, and build processes
- Skilled in debugging REST APIs and analyzing JSON payloads using tools such
as Postman
- Experience with core AWS services, especially CloudWatch for log analysis and
monitoring; familiarity with S3 for asset management
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for resolving
technical challenges in live production environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
with both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to read and understand JavaScript/TypeScript code to identify
potential bug sources prior to escalation
- Proficiency with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management or Zendesk
- Familiarity with mobile monitoring tools like Sentry, New Relic, or Datadog
- Basic understanding of SQL queries to assist with preliminary data validation
