About the Role!
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile App QA Analyst with over 5 years of manual testing experience across both iOS and Android platforms. You’ll be responsible for validating features and usability across a wide range of devices and OS versions.
You will be working in an engineering-oriented fast-paced environment, with minimal management and detailed task definition. You need to be a self-starter and excel at making your own decisions and organizing your work according to the declared goals.
This is a remote position with working hours in Pacific Time (PT).
You will
Execute test plans and detailed test cases for mobile applications.
Perform cross-device and cross-version manual testing on iOS and Android.
Report bugs clearly and thoroughly with logs and reproduction steps.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Collaborate closely with developers and designers to understand product changes.
Ensure compatibility across various screen sizes, resolutions, and form factors.
You have
5+ years of mobile app manual testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
Strong knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android), including OS behaviours, device characteristics, and user interaction patterns.
Experience testing across a wide range of form factors and OS versions, ensuring broad device compatibility.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar bug/test management systems.
Proven ability to validate UI/UX behaviour and edge cases across different screen sizes and hardware capabilities.
Must be a resident of Canada and be eligible to work in Canada
Ability to work during the Pacific Time Zone's regular business hours
Flexible to attend remote meetings during the evening when required.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with accessibility testing (VoiceOver, TalkBack).
Familiarity with Figma or design handoff tools for test planning.
Exposure to automation tools like Appium is a plus.
