Salary: Level 4 Step 1 ($2,548.50 bi-weekly)

Reporting to the Assets & Camps Supervisor, this position assists with the compiling of event and camp orders, recording, tracking and ensuring the return of signed out assets. The incumbent also assists with camp events, as required. The position assists with the tracking and recording of all TH capital assets at various camps, Heritage sites and Moosehide. The incumbent may act in the Assets & Camps Supervisor position during vacation or sick leave. The incumbent must perform all duties of the position in accordance to TH Policies and all applicable government legislation.
An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 10 (or equivalency).
Basic working knowledge of general office equipment operation (including basic computer skills, email, Internet).
Basic knowledge of using and maintaining outdoor gear and equipment.
Basic knowledge of small equipment operation and use, or a willingness to learn.
Basic motor vehicle knowledge, repair and maintenance an asset.
Knowledge of hazards and safe work practices with respect to equipment and vehicle.
Willingness to continue to take courses to keep current in the asset control/inventory fields.
Conditions of Employment:
Criminal Records Check.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and clear Driver’s abstract
Standard First Aid-CPR certification
WHMIS Certification (or a willingness to obtain within six months of hire).
Safety Certification in use of power tools/equipment/ATV (or a willingness to obtain within 6 months).
TH101 Cultural Awareness training.
