This role is part of Eyeline’s Technology organization, which is responsible for
delivering innovative production technology, supporting creative excellence
across our global studio. We are seeking a highly motivated Learning and
Development Manager, someone with a proven track record in delivering effective
learning programs at scale. In this role, you will drive the strategy,
execution, and continuous improvement of learning initiatives that elevate
creative and technical excellence across our global studio.
As the Learning and Development Manager, you will collaborate with a
cross-functional team of creative, technical, and business leaders to identify
skill gaps, prioritize training needs, and build an artist-friendly learning
ecosystem. By partnering closely with artists, subject matter experts, and
studio leaders, you will ensure every learning opportunity aligns with Eyeline’s
goals and elevates our teams’ capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that
aligns with Eyeline’s business objectives and creative vision
- Partner with studio leaders, production management, creative teams, and
technology to assess organizational skill gaps, prioritize learning needs,
and shape the training roadmap
- Lead, mentor, and support the Learning & Development team, including subject
matter experts (SMEs) who will be developing course outlines, learning
objectives, and instructional content
- Oversee the design, rollout, and evaluation of training programs, workshops,
and learning initiatives for a diverse, creative workforce
- Guide the transition to a standardized Learning Management System (LMS),
collaborating with Netflix Technology to ensure optimal implementation, user
experience, and content integration
- Ensure all training materials and delivery methods meet studio standards for
quality, accessibility, and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support change management
initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new tools, workflows, and processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for training-related feedback, progress
updates, and alignment with evolving business priorities
- Establish and track key training metrics, analyze learner outcomes, and
report on program effectiveness and ROI
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating the
latest advancements into our learning ecosystem to keep our teams at the
forefront of innovation
- Proactively identify and pilot innovative learning solutions to keep
Eyeline’s training offerings industry-leading
- Oversee training schedules, logistics, and resource allocation to ensure
efficient and effective program delivery
- Manage the administration of the LMS, including course creation, learner
enrollment, and data integrity
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in learning and development, with demonstrated success
managing training programs and teams
- Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate large-scale learning
initiatives, ideally within creative production industries (VFX, Animation,
Games, etc.)
- Expertise in learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and L&D
best practices
- Experience managing and administering Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience using assessment tools and applying a data-driven approach to
measure training effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging educational content and facilitate
learning for diverse, creative audiences
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
skills
- Ability to drive innovation in training delivery and adapt to evolving
business needs
- Strong organizational and project management abilities; adept at managing
multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
- Consultative, collaborative approach to problem-solving and identifying
learning needs
- Appreciation for cultural and business nuances across international teams
- Experience supporting change management initiatives

$170,000 - $240,000 a year
This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in
Vancouver, BC. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications,
skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary
outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
