The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Bells Corners is seeking an Investment Associate to provide dedicated support in investment & money management activities for a successful Advisory Team. What will you do? Primary Responsibilities Coordinate the execution of trades and decision-making process with the advisory team including complex trading and for the purpose of tax-loss selling Review portfolios regularly and re-balance them with guidance Support cash flow processes; specifically, coordinate with the advisory team to invest new monies in portfolios and free up cash for planned and unplanned withdrawals per team philosophy and set criteria Secondary Responsibilities Back-up/support team Associates occasionally with work such as account documentation, onboarding, operations work, client contact plan, meeting bookings, fee billing analysis, RSP/TFSA/RESP/FHSA processes, etc. Back up for team Associates when they are away on holiday or out of the office Lead and/or support IT initiatives, staying on top of new/improved tools, identify opportunities to better leverage Coordinate & participate with the advisory team for investment management team meetings and communication What do you need to succeed? Must-have Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel in particular) Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry Nice-to-have Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset What’s in it for you?
