Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Produce Clerk at our Food Store in Swan River, MB.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Produce Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Be a public relations representative for the Co-op in the communities we serve.
Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
Cut, prepare and package fruits and vegetables into various sized trays.
Maintain sections of merchandise as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is always followed, and that close-dated product is reported to the Produce Manager.
Follow established procedures for trimming and preparation, washing, culling, and pricing.
Assist the Produce Manager with ordering duties and inventory control.
Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed.
Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including maintenance of all equipment and display cases.
