The primary responsibility of the position is to support the service centre by planning and providing parts, supplies and assisting with all other avoidable barriers that stand in the way of effective and efficient repairs and maintenance. The position is also responsible for shipping/receiving and warehouse activities, with occasional driving to pick up or deliver parts requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain organization and upkeep of warehouse.
Receive in-bound parts, supplies and materials – physically and in system
Pull, stage and label parts for outbound shipping
Escalate any discrepancies to supervisor
Label, assign and maintain storage and bin locations for all inventory
Label and store parts in accurate locations
Assist in development and improvement of warehouse and storage plans
Assist in development and upkeep of facility 6S
Perform regular cycle counts for all inventory and monitor for shrinkage avoidance
Perform inter-branch transfers in a timely manner to maintain accurate inventory
Occasional need to pick up and deliver parts as required in a safe and timely manner
Ensure all loads are safe and properly secured at all times
Maintain condition and cleanliness of company vehicles
Complete vehicle inspection reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
Safely operate the company vehicle adhering to all safety requirements, obeying traffic laws and driving undistracted

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
Industry related experience an asset
Valid G License
Skills and Experience
Truck and trailer parts knowledge and experience
Comfortable with prioritizing and handling large volumes of paperwork
Comfortable with working in high pace environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong data entry skills
Good communication skills
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Cetaris etc.)
