Job Description What is the opportunity? The Application Resiliency team (under Tech Design & Resiliency, Operational Effectiveness) ensures that we have resiliency by design for Banking Operations People, Process and Technology. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Application Resiliency – Linx, this role will support Reporting and Analytics functionality which is critical to Linx. As Manager, Linx Analytics and Reporting you will be primarily accountable for providing analytical reports to the businesses and partners supporting Personal Banking . This role ensures that the data and the analytics are proactively managed and monitored and that the existing system design is optimized to continuously enhance resiliency to minimize frequency and severity of outages. What will you do? Fulfill all the Reporting needs including maintenance, support, scheduling and development of Linx Business Warehouse (WEBI) reports related to HEF. Support reporting users with onboarding, access and providing data expertise and analyzing issues. Act as the first point of escalation when reporting users face issues with anything related to Linx reporting data and tools. Manage communication on data and reports Provide data and analytics support during investigation and resolution of incidents Analyze operational impact and help prevent incidents by pulling reports as needed and providing insights to enhance system resiliency Develop & maintain strong relationships with business partners/ sponsors, and internal and external partners Instill resiliency mindset within the stakeholders for both Application Resiliency-led and non-Application Resiliency-led initiatives Acts as liaison between business LOB(s), interfacing applications, 3rd party vendors, IT project team(s) and other RBC teams Prioritizes work based on client/business impact, outcomes, operational risks and strategic alignment Approve system access requests and fulfill end-to-end Data Steward Delegate and Group Delegate responsibilities, ensuring adherence to segregation of duties principles, data management standards, and data integrity of managed applications Leverage data, analytics and reporting capabilities to ensure application resiliency and that each application achieves higher availability by minimizing incidents and unnecessary outages Engage application custodian(s) and other IT partners to fully understand the applications within your portfolio Accountable for planning and execution of acceptance testing (UAT and PIV); ensuring proper processes are in place for efficient and robust executions of all business/ops-led tests. UAT and PIVs are generally done late nights or early mornings or on the weekends Act as SME providing recommendations & direction for projects/initiatives. Ensure technical specs and non-functional requirements are maintained for the applications within your portfolio Participate in and/or facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Own product backlog refinement taking full responsibility for building the right product as the voice of the customer, ensuring product backlog is visible and transparent Lead requirement gathering effort on epics as needed, consulting with project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders Create/refine/accept user stories for epics and backlog items ensuring enough ready user stories are always in the backlog What do you need to succeed?
