JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Specialist to manage website updates, oversee marketing projects, and drive revenue through email, digital and traditional marketing strategies. You are passionate about the beauty and adventure of our mountaintop environment and all that it has to offer, and take pride in showcasing Grouse Mountain to local and global audiences. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee the execution of resort marketing campaigns and projects, including print advertising and onsite signage
Develop and manage Grouse Mountain’s automated email marketing program and distribute weekly newsletters
Maintain and optimize website content, including product pages, website copy, calls to action (CTAs), forms and other elements to enhance user experience
Support in execution of a brand new grousemountain.com
Create and distribute internal marketing briefs for company-wide circulation
Assist the Communications Manager with social media scheduling and content sharing
Support additional marketing and communications initiatives as required
Other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Post-secondary education in marketing, business or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing or a related role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience with social media platforms, analytics and scheduling tools
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
Exceptional attitude to detail with a strategic mindset
Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as salesforce, acoustic or mail chimp
Experience using Google Analytics to track and optimize marketing performance
Passion for an active outdoor lifestyle including snow sports, hiking and mountain biking
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$55,000 to $65,000 annually
