Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role, you will ensure that all work assigned to them is completed accurately, on target and within regulatory standards. In addition, you will assist other RBC Investor Services departments/teams in the resolution of Client issues in order to maximize Client experience. What will you do? Quality control review of all trading and account data input on recordkeeping system Review various types of mutual and pooled fund investor transactions for errors from internal processing Review reports of trade rejections and provide explanation to internal partners as required Report errors, trade rejections and electronic transfer of funds issues within the internal data -base to capture data for reporting purposes Ensuring knowledge of client specific and departmental requirements are current Communicating effectively with all teams to establish relationships based on enhancing the overall client experience Supporting and assisting other members of the department as required during absences or periods of higher volumes Escalating to management issues that hinder meeting deadlines, impact client service; or have potential loss to the organization Message all accounts where unusual actions have occurred Audit Transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rate Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups What do you need to succeed? Must-have Experience within Shareholder Services or similar multi-client mutual fund administration environment Good working knowledge / experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Mutual fund and Segregated Funds administration Sound knowledge of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund taxation and compliance /regulation – including Registered Products Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high stress environment Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups Strong customer service skills Computer Literacy - Intermediate Sound technical and analytical skills in running/debugging various applications and macros including MS Office Nice to have Proven track record in leading initiatives, managing cross-functional relationships Completion of IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course Unitrax Recordkeeping System knowledge FundSERV knowledge Ability to read/write French What’s in it for you?
