Job Description The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analyzing activities on large Client Data and Regulatory Compliance programs with teams across T&O and CDO. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability in business systems analysis where you will be responsible for facilitating the flow of requirements from the business partners to Technology teams for delivery. As a BSA within the Technology Team, you will be the subject matter expert on the program requirements, acting as the central point of contact for IT, T&O teams and partnering with the business to drive requirements review, refinement, design and traceability. What will you do? Work closely with product owners to ensure a solid understanding of business needs and translating these into systems requirements Collaborate with technical teams to map source system data to IBM MDM data models Define data governance rules, support data quality initiatives Design, document, and validate ETL processes to extract data from multiple source systems, transform this to meet business and quality requirements- load this into IBM MDM for integration and reporting Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements in either iterative or Agile methodology using techniques such as user stories, story maps, system to system mapping, user context diagrams, using agile or iterative tools and processes Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques to ensure relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through to implementation Support Design, Development and Testing activities by providing requirements clarifications and root-cause analysis Leverage organizational AI capabilities to increase productivity in areas like requirement analysis, field level system to system mapping and other documentation and also contribute to process improvement activities What do you need to succeed? Must have: 3+ years working as a Business Systems Analyst, strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data process Experience in data mapping between systems for integrations - experience with IBM (MDM) Strong knowledge of Data and experience with databases (SQL etc) and data formats (XML, JSON), Working knowledge of Swagger Knowledge of statistics and analyzing datasets (Excel etc) Understanding of REST API and SOAP. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Maintenance of proper version history of documentations Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation Nice-to-have: Previous banking experience Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, IBM InfoSphere DataStage) Knowledge of API integration with MDM platforms What’s in it for you?
