Job Title: Plumber - Nights
Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a licensed Plumber to join our Maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of plumbing systems within our high-demand food production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems and fixtures, with a strong emphasis on food safety and sanitary standards.

Hourly Rate: $43.50 + $2.00 Overnight Premium
Shifts Available: Night Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30AM

Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in a manufacturing environment
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
Work in compliance with all safety, GMP, HACCP, and SOP requirements
Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth operation of processing equipment
Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance logs
Assist with utility systems including water treatment, steam, and compressed air as needed
Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company policies
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario Plumbing License (306A License)
Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing (food manufacturing experience is an asset)
Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments
Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends or holidays when required
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must have their own tools
