BC Place is hiring an inspiring leader to join us as Manager, Guest Experience, overseeing our frontline Hosting team and guest operations. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape unforgettable experiences at one of Canada’s premier event venues—ensuring every guest interaction reflects the highest standard of service.
As the leader of a 250+ member Hosting team, you’ll be responsible for the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of our guest experience strategies. From developing service standards and guest recovery protocols to enhancing premium and accessible offerings, you’ll play a key role in delivering world-class hospitality to millions of visitors each year.
Reporting to the Director, Events & Guest Experience, you’ll coach, motivate, and lead by example—bringing energy and excellence to some of the most exciting events in British Columbia.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and mentor the Guest Experience and Hosting teams, setting service standards and SOPs.
Design and deliver training and service recovery programs to elevate frontline performance.
Collaborate with Events Operations and tenant partners (BC Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps FC) to deliver seamless, premium guest experiences.
Champion the development of accessible and premium service offerings.
Respond to guest feedback and analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
Act as a senior leader on duty during major events.
Oversee staffing strategies and guest survey programs.
Liaise with Ticketmaster to support event-day operations and technology.
What You Bring:
A degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
5+ years in guest experience or event operations leadership within sports, entertainment, or hospitality.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience in a unionized environment and working knowledge of collective agreements.
Familiarity with EBMS or similar event management systems.
A passion for service excellence and innovation.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The salary range for this position is $ 80,307 – 100,384
Offers will be in line with PavCo’s internal pay equity and qualified candidate’s experience and education.
