In this dynamic role, you will support sales teams and clients with technical, procedural, and commercial expertise to ensure reliable application performance and full customer satisfaction. You will represent the company in engineering discussions with clients, partners, and subcontractors, and play a key role in delivering successful installations, resolving product issues, and supporting long-term reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Assist sales teams and clients with technical, procedural, and commercial support
Represent the company in engineering design meetings with clients, subcontractors, and partners
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues during and after warranty periods
Organize and coordinate stakeholders to address and resolve warranty cases
Deliver product training and technical orientations to partners, installers, and potential customers
Ensure installation procedures are correctly followed by field installers
Prepare and submit technical reports and field service documentation
Work in commercial and industrial facilities requiring PPE (e.g., safety footwear, eyewear)
Use hand tools and brazing torches, occasional work in confined spaces
Perform physically demanding tasks: bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting to 50 lbs
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with heat trace systems in industrial or commercial settings
Located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Edmonton Area, including Fort McMurray and Fort McKay, within 90 days
Ability to work in an office/hybrid setting with flexibility to travel 25–80% across Canada
Valid Canadian driver’s license
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
Physical stamina and manual dexterity for hands-on field tasks
Knowledge of Canadian and international codes and standards (CEC, NEC, IEC, IEEE)
Experience supporting customers through installation and operational challenges
