Summary:
The Application Systems Analyst II – Development & Construction plays a key role
in supporting and optimizing the suite of business applications used across
Development and Construction operations, with a primary focus on HeavyJob,
Procore, and ArcGIS. This position ensures that these systems are reliable,
integrated, and aligned with both field and office workflows to drive
efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Acting as a bridge between IT, field
teams, and business stakeholders, the analyst provides strategic support,
manages application lifecycles, and leads continuous improvement efforts to
ensure the tools meet the evolving needs of the Development & Construction
businesses.
Requirements:
- Lead the operational oversight of the HeavyJob system and other Development &
Construction applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and user
satisfaction across all supported platforms.
- Own and manage system configurations, updates, and integrations, proactively
identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance
interoperability with enterprise tools such as Procore, ArcGIS, and other
Development & Construction technology platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party
vendors, coordinating resolution of complex technical issues and ensuring
alignment with organizational goals and service standards.
- Design and deliver structured training programs and user enablement
strategies for field teams, project managers, and office personnel, fostering
adoption and maximizing the value of supported systems.
- Manage application lifecycles through an IT Service Management (ITSM)
framework, ensuring structured deployment, change control, and incident
resolution. Track all activity in the ITSM platform to monitor KPIs, identify
trends, and recommend improvements that enhance system support and
performance.
- Analyze and resolve escalated user issues, leveraging root cause analysis and
trend identification to implement sustainable solutions and reduce recurring
incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Business
Transformation, Project Delivery) to ensure data integrity, optimize system
usage, and support strategic initiatives through technology.
- Document and communicate system changes, enhancements, and best practices to
stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement.
- Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Comply with the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies &
Procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Model and promote a safety- and quality-first culture, leading by example and
reinforcing best practices across all supported systems and teams.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across HeavyJob and other
Development & Construction systems by implementing validation protocols,
monitoring data quality, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve
discrepancies.
- Lead and document system audits to verify compliance with internal standards,
regulatory requirements, and industry best practices; drive remediation and
continuous improvement initiatives based on findings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to design and maintain
seamless data flows and integrations between HeavyJob, Procore, ArcGIS, and
other enterprise platforms.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and user experience, leveraging
analytics and stakeholder feedback to recommend and implement enhancements
that improve operational efficiency and align with business goals.
- Own the communication and change management process for system updates,
enhancements, and new feature rollouts, ensuring stakeholders are informed,
trained, and supported throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, construction management,
business administration, or a related field, or 8 years' equivalent work
experience required.
- Certification in HeavyJob, Procore Admin, ArcGIS Enterprise Admin training or
system-specific certifications required.
- Certification in ITIL v4, CompTIA Project +, Microsoft Power Platform
Fundamentals or equivalent preferred.
- 3 or more years of systems management or IT support role, ideally within the
construction or project management industry required.
- 2 or more years of hands-on experience with HeavyJob, Procore, ArcPro
software or similar development & construction management tools is highly
preferred.
- Certification in continuous improvement and/or lean methodology and practice
preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically 16-30% required.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data integrity, system optimization,
and continuous improvement across multiple business applications.
- Proactive and self-directed, capable of independently managing complex tasks
while collaborating effectively across departments and stakeholder groups.
- Experienced in training and mentoring, with the ability to support users at
all levels and foster adoption of enterprise systems.
- Advanced technical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot escalated
issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to
translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and engage
stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management capabilities, including prioritization,
coordination of concurrent initiatives, and delivery of system enhancements
aligned with business goals.
- Familiarity with construction workflows and project management practices,
with the ability to align technology solutions to field and office
operations.
- Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and practices,
including tracking KPIs, identifying trends, and using data to inform support
strategies and system improvements.
Anticipated base salary range: $94,000- $118,000
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education,
qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
