Summary:
The Operations Project Manager will support the safe and effective operation of Guelph Community Health Centre facilities and provide key leadership and mentorship to Facilities and Cleaning Teams. This role will provide ongoing project management support for a number of Facilities projects and help drive key improvement initiatives for the Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead facilities operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency across all sites
Support capital and renovation projects, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
Manage the Maintenance Care system and use data for continuous improvement
Provide budget oversight for facilities and identify funding opportunities for infrastructure needs
Liaise with tenants and internal teams on space planning and facilities us
Key Projects
Operational Improvements: Review team feedback on quality improvement opportunities related to processes, training, and staffing needs. Develop and implement a Facilities operational plan.
Technology Assessment: Evaluate current facilities software and make recommendations for a harmonized solution that supports both Health and Safety and Facilities management.
Special Projects Oversight: Lead several facilities-related projects that include budget planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and staff/contractor oversight.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project management, operations or facilities management
Proven leadership experience and ability to manage teams and projects effectively
Strong problem-solving, planning, and collaboration skills
Commitment to health equity and working with diverse populations
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle required
