Junior Commodities Logistics Analyst participates in and supports the operational activities of a business unit. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments. Primary Responsibilities: On a daily basis - verify and ensure accuracy of daily metal settlements in a timely manner while ensuring adherence to all relevant Standing Orders Review and reconcile all balancing reports by working with other Business & Client Services functional teams, front office, vaults and cash cages Develop strong understanding of commodities trading products and trade instrument types Documenting processes or upgrading existing procedure manuals. Developing product or service knowledge and competence in tools and business processes used in the department. Propose initiatives to improve manual processes and liaise with business analysts and IT to provide requirements, test and onboard the process Participate in team’s project initiatives – assisting with business requirements, user acceptance testing and onboarding to production. Positive can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to learn and adapt to changing priorities. Results-focused with well-developed priority-setting, organizational and project management skills Collaborative team player effective at developing and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of the organization What do you need to succeed?
