Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partnerships, you will lead our
strategic partnership within your respective functional portfolio, including the
business functions at ARC’One, and our Manufactuing and Distribution facility.
You will provide strategic guidance and expertise in organizational design,
performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership in order to
drive employee engagement and success at the individual, team, and business
level. You have a unique ability to translate business strategies into
culturally relevant talent strategies that will drive effective long term
business results. You are a coach, partner, and cultural leader for Arc’teryx
employees globally and within ARC’One, and your commitment to building long term
capability within the organization is a key driver of achieving our global
business objectives. As a trusted coach and partner you will enable ongoing
leadership development across the business through your team’s partnership.
You will lead and manage a functional Business Partnership team, and you will
lead through influence with other People & Culture COEs and across our
organization such as finance & payroll, health and safety, and asset protection.

You will primarily work from ARC’One, our manufacturing and distribution
facility, located in New Westminster. ARC’One is our laboratory. We experiment,
we test, and we produce our new products all under the hustling and bustling
production environment. This is where products physically come to life. Our

The People & Culture Business Partner team (PCBP) operates in strategic
partnership with the business, driving the continuous evolution of people and
leadership practices and fostering a culture that generates high performance
teams, strengths-based coaching, and values-based leadership.

If you were the Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partnerships now, here
are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Partnering with leaders within your respective functional portfolio. and
overseeing the creation and implementation of our people strategy for your
portfolio in alignment with our long-term global business strategy
- Providing ongoing strategic guidance and coaching to senior leaders,
managers, and employees within your portfolio
- Providing onsite leadership to the coaching of managers and supervisors in
progressive performance management including coaching, documentation,
preparing corrective action plans, applying proper disciplinary actions and
termination procedures
- Driving and iterating our PCBP partnership framework and support structure
for our ARC’One teams and factory based Supply Chain teams globally
- Leading a team of functional P&C partners in providing exceptional support on
people, culture, and organizational topics across the business
- Leading the ARC’One Workforce Planning Headcount & Budget Process,
collaborating with leadership to identify, analyze and prioritize
organizational human resource needs based on current and future business
objectives and constraints
- Building and implementing a sound framework to enable the smooth execution of
our people initiatives and partnership with ARC’One and Supply Chain
employees located globally
- Partnering with our total rewards team to inform our evolving total rewards
strategy based on business needs and feedback within your portfolio, and to
ensure the successful implementation and communication of total rewards
initiates across the business
- Overseeing our global performance framework within your portfolio, including
performance management, talent assessment and succession planning in
partnership with our Talent Management team, and succession planning
- Providing strategic guidance on organizational design and structure across
your portfolio, partnering with your leaders to design high performing teams
that will meet our evolving business needs
- Driving engagement, trust, and performance across the business through sound
change leadership and through your team’s day-to-day partnership with our
people
- Operating as a key member of the P&C leadership team to drive
cross-functional P&C initiatives
- Driving and participating in projects and bodies of work assigned by your
leader
Additional experience, education and/or skills required:
- You have a degree in business administration or Human Resources Management
- You have 10+ years of solid, complex and professional level HR experience in
apparel or the outdoor industry, including 3 years in a leadership capacity,
ideally within an international organization.
- You have proven experience leading a thriving team within a factory or
distribution based environment
- You have strong presentation and communication skills
- You have obtained your Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR)

$125,000 - $156,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$125,000 - CAD$156,000 at the time
of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such
as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper
end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated
expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly
transferable experience.

include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
