At BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), we work to create unforgettable moments, world-class experiences and stronger connections to community, industry and culture.
PavCo is the owner and operator of two of Canada’s premier venues for events, BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre.
As BC Place prepares to host the FIFA World Cup 2026, our team is building something extraordinary—not just for British Columbians, but for a global audience.
We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager for a 12 month contract at BC Place.
In this role, you'll be the key link between project correspondence, construction management, and contract execution. Working closely with our Construction Manager and Infrastructure & Capital Projects team, you'll manage the full life cycle of contract administration—reviewing invoices, responding to correspondence, managing change orders, and ensuring accountability across our Prime Design and Construction Manager contracts.
What You Will Do:
Coordinate the receipt, review, and response to all major project correspondence
Review and manage monthly invoicing from multiple contractors
Create tracking systems for contract and document control
Draft and manage official project documentation, reports, and contract change notices
Evaluate claims-related correspondence and support resolution alongside the Construction Manager
Facilitate team meetings, manage KPIs, and oversee reporting timelines
Lead electronic filing systems and coach team members on best practices
What You Will Bring:
Minimum 7 years in contract management, ideally on major infrastructure projects
Experience with CCDC contracts and large-scale commercial or development construction
Post-secondary education in a relevant field; PMP, CPCM, or Chartered Quantity Surveyor designation preferred
A sharp eye for detail and deadlines and calm under pressure
Deep understanding of contract law, change management, and claim evaluation
Proven ability to lead, track, and bring structure to multi-disciplinary project teams
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $94,084 – $117,605, aligned with PavCo’s internal pay equity and your qualifications
Salary discussion and overall compensation package will be presented during initial phone interviews
