Job Description
As an Associate, you will support activities in line with a One Fund approach to strategic advisor relationships for the Fund, including with Banks, Consultants, Risk Advisors, and more. You will be part of a team that acts as a gateway to those key relationships to unlock value for the fund.
Accountabilities:
Contribute to the establishment of relationships with select banks/consultants/advisors, to ensure they see us as a priority, understand our priorities, and grant financial support, deal flow, top quality service, and access to content and people.
Support teams across the Fund by understanding their business needs, being responsive to their requests, and by proactively identifying and activating levers to create value via bank relationships.
Help coordinate team events, including review sessions and thought leadership initiatives.
Build knowledge on select bank/consultant/advisor relationships, gathering input from across the organization and from external sources, to have clarity on strengths, priorities and opportunities for each relationship and support the team in communicating them internally.
Help draft internal reports, briefs, and presentations to effectively share quantitative and qualitative insights with the organization. Collaborate across the organization to gather and synthesize data to generate insights.
Support the resolution of internal requests, working with the team to identify the right response, which may include connecting with bank representatives; escalating the ask to the appropriate internal party, facilitating an introduction, etc.
Contribute to team discussions, efficiency improvements and other initiatives, to deliver greater value to the organization.
Qualifications
University degree in relevant field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Strong financial acumen, with a good understanding of capital markets and the role banks, consultants and advisors play in the success of an investment organization.
Ability to build rapport with external and internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Strong communication and presentation skills, specifically with internal and external senior executives.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges.
