Job Description What will you do? You will join a specific Global Credit team to work with throughout the winter term. The roles and responsibilities will vary depending on the team you are assigned to but could include: Participate in planning and executing audits across multiple credit risk disciplines, gaining exposure to both retail and wholesale credit portfolios. Work alongside experienced auditors to perform walkthroughs, control testing, and portfolio reviews. Analyze credit exposure, migration trends, and risk metrics to identify emerging issues and themes. Contribute to the evaluation of credit risk rating, monitoring, and provisioning processes. Prepare clear, well-documented workpapers that support audit conclusions and recommendations. Research industry, regulatory, and market developments impacting credit risk management. Attend audit team and stakeholder meetings, gaining exposure to how findings are communicated to senior leaders. Gain first-hand experience in how Internal Audit supports the bank’s sound credit risk management practices and compliance with regulatory requirements. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or other related fields Strong personal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment Professional written and verbal communication skills Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Highly organized with good attention to detail and very high level of accuracy Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines Ability to think critically and “Outside the Box” Nice-to-have Knowledge and an understanding of financial statement analysis Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Products, including Excel (including using Excel as a tool for financial analysis) Word, PowerPoint, Access Knowledge of credit risk concepts and processes.
