The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America. With something for everyone, our event offers a wide variety of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!
The CNE fair is a cherished tradition, attracting approximately 1.5 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. Be a part of this summer tradition and help us inspire Canadians and create memories.

Responsibilities
Daily set up, operation and tear down of program area
Engage guests to participate in and provide information about the activity/program
Provide information to guests about exhibits in an enthusiastic and informative manner
Supervise area to encourage safe operation as well as to protect against theft, loss, and breakage
Ensure adequate availability/quantity of activity supplies and restock when necessary
Ensure the program areas are properly maintained and presentable at all times
Answer basic questions from guests regarding programming, attractions, facilities, services (i.e. location of nearest washrooms, bank machines, food vendors, Found Children, First Aid)
Miscellaneous duties for the operations of the area
Special Conditions
Ability to work in environments with low lights, flashing lights, strobe lights, high noise volumes, and moving projections
Ability to stand or remain in stationary position for extended periods of time
Ability to work indoors for extended periods of time
Comfortable with loud noises and crowds
Comfortable in instructing, aiding, and facilitating programs such as brick-based STEM activities, hands-on puzzles, line management, and other Gaming Garage related programs
Comfortable in the troubleshooting, resetting, and monitoring of gaming related technologies such as gaming consoles, arcade machines, PCs, and other gaming related programs
Required to dress in appropriate uniform

Required Qualifications
Minimum Age Requirement: 14 years
Available to work flexible hours all 18 days of the fair (August 15th – September 1st, 2025), including evenings, weekends, and Labour Day
Available to attend one day of mandatory staff orientation and one day of mandatory job-specific training, scheduled to take place between August 4 – August 14, 2025. Exact dates to be confirmed
Experience interacting with children of different ages an asset
Customer service interaction, problem solving, program facilitation, and communication experience is an asset
