About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on design leader to join our team. In this
role, you’ll support and grow a small team of talented product designers across
our travel, core app, and design system experiences. You’ll operate as a
player-coach—balancing leadership with hands-on design work to drive impact
where it matters most.
You’ll guide your team in delivering high-quality, user-centered designs, while
also contributing directly to key initiatives. You’ll help shape product
strategy, champion design thinking, and collaborate closely with
cross-functional partners to elevate the user experience.
You value a high bar for craft and hold your team to those standards. You’ll
lead by example, ensuring your team’s work is grounded in data, research, and a
deep understanding of user needs. You’ll bring structure to complexity, provide
clarity in ambiguous spaces, and align design efforts with business goals.

What you’ll be working on
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to your team—ensuring effective
collaboration with cross-functional partners and delivering high-quality,
end-to-end product experiences.
- Manage and support designers in their priorities, career growth, and
workflows to help them do their best work and reach their full potential.
- Build strong partnerships with product, engineering, UXR, content design, and
data analytics, to shape and prioritize features and enhancements that drive
customer and business success.
- Champion user-centered design practices and ensure the delivery of intuitive,
high-quality products.
- Use research, data, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform the
roadmap and guide your team toward impactful, customer-first decisions.
- Operate as a manager/doer—stepping in when needed to lead workshops, sketch
concepts, prototype, or deliver final designs.
- Help raise the bar for design quality at Super.com [http://Super.com] through
close collaboration with product designers from other verticals, brand
creative, product, and engineering peers.
- Advocated for adoption and contribution to the growth & maintenance of the
Super.com [http://Super.com] design system to drive efficiency, elevated
quality, cohesion, and visual consistency across our products.
- Navigate ambiguity and differing perspectives to build alignment, make
informed decisions, and focus your team’s efforts on what matters most.
Who we’re looking for
- 7+ years of Product Design experience, working closely with product and
engineering partners.
- 2+ years of leadership experience effectively managing product designers and
supporting their career development.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating critical thinking skills, data-informed
decisions, high-level of craft, mobile app experience, leading projects from
conception to completion, and showcasing measurable business impact.
- Experience in B2C products with high-engagement touchpoints, especially on
mobile.
- Effective stakeholder management, with strong communication and presentation
skills.
- Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in fast-paced, changing
environments, delivering high quality designs within rapid iteration cycles.
- Experience informing and driving design decisions by leveraging UXR and
quantitative data.
- Strong foundation in building and maintaining design systems.A growth-minded
leader who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly to change.
Preferred experience
- Travel industry experience.
- Experience with UX writing for effective user experience design.
- Familiarity with data gathering and analysis tools, specifically Amplitude.

As a remote-first organization we use benchmarking data reflective of your
geographical areas to ensure our compensation package is competitive based on
where you reside. Your TA partner will confirm which range applies to your
