The CNE fair is a cherished tradition, attracting approximately 1.5 million

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, you will be working within the Guest
Services department to assist the Guest Services Manager and Coordinator in the
day-to-day functions within the department in coordinating and implementing the
CNE Guest Services Programs. These programs include: CNE Trains, Lost and Found
Kids, Lost and Found items, EMS, St John’s, Scouts, Info Booths, Info Line,
Friends of the CNE & Sensory activations.

Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising staff responsible for the core services groups with the
CNE Guest Services Department
- Assist with determining staffing requirements and schedules
- Assist in hiring and training all staff (and volunteers where applicable) in
accordance with appropriate legislation and CNE expectations
- Assist in monitoring staff performance for purpose of performance reviews
- Assist in tracking staff hours for payroll submission
- Assist with move-in into Guest Services satellite locations: Trains trailer,
Salon 102 (ECC), Better Living Centre, Scouts Canada locations etc.
- Assist with move out of Guest Services satellite locations and assist with
inventory, packing, and storage
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Responsible, proactive, friendly, organized

- Experience supervising staff (preferred)
- Proven organization and time management skills with attention to detail

- Outstanding command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Minimum G2 driver’s license
- Ability to work up to and including Labour Day Monday
- Flexibility to work, days, evenings, and/or weekends during the event, as
required
Special Conditions
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in all weather conditions
(sun, heat, wind, cold, rain)
- Ability to work until midnight as some shifts will require staying until
closing
- May be required to dress in appropriate uniform
