The Opportunity
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of skilled and complex maintenance
and repair duties in accordance with accepted standards and procedures. This
includes checking, testing, installing, repairing and maintaining complex
mechanical equipment and systems such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, and
non-biomedical equipment; monitoring, controlling and repairing boilers and
cooling systems; responsible for boiler checks; performing renovation and
structural repair work; keeping logs and records; implementation and completion
of preventative maintenance program; ability to take on a leadership role when
necessary. Responsible for other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5th class Power Engineer Certificate or combination of A or B with
Special Boiler Opertor's Certificate Vehicle and valid Alberta Drivers License
required.

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in large building and equipment maintenance,
including boiler operations required.

Basic computer skills are required for daily use of the AHS e-Facilities
system.
