Job Description JOB POSTING FOR CUPE BARGAINING UNIT Housekeeping Aide (Temporary Part Time Days, Evenings) – Manitoulin Centennial Manor POSTED: July 7 2025 SUBMIT APPLICATION TO: BRAD DUBREUIL, SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain the cleanliness of the facility Able to operate different cleaning machines Maintain stock of cleaning supplies & PPE distributed on the floor (sanitizer, mask, gloves, etc.) Participates in proper storage and labeling of housekeeping and laundry supplies Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control. Participates in facility meetings as assigned. Attends in-service education programs. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS . Previous housekeeping / laundry aide experience preferred in LTC Home 0-1 year(s). Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to read and write English as well as to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
