The Belzberg Library circulation/service desk is the Library's first point of contact with library patrons and also maintains and organizes the physical books and equipment for lending to students, faculty, and staff. It is a large team of continuing staff as well as temporary student workers.
About the Role
This position is responsible for circulating library materials, responding to patron requests for Library materials and services, and maintaining Library stacks. Performs other duties and responsibilities consistent with the job description and classification on request.
Qualifications
High school graduation. 6 months of related experience. Or an equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
Ability to handle routine and repetitive work efficiently.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work shifts.

The assignment start/end dates are: September 3, 2025 to December 16, 2025.
Priority will be given to qualified registered SFU students who must submit a Fall 2025 class schedule with their application. This is a part-time position working variable hours, up to 15 hours biweekly. There are 3 positions available.
