The Role
We’re currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable
Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team in Toronto. This is a standalone
AP role in Canada, and you will be the primary point of contact for local
payables, reporting directly to the AP/AR Team Leader based at our Amsterdam
head office.
You’ll work closely with international colleagues across Accounts Receivable
(AR), General Ledger (GL), and Credit Control, and play a key role in ensuring
accurate and timely financial operations for our Canadian entity while
supporting global processes.
Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices and employee expenses in a timely and accurate
manner.

Ensure timely payments and manage relationships with international vendors.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Maintain and update vendor master data.

Liaise with global finance colleagues, especially in Amsterdam.

Provide local support for finance-related queries and assist with
documentation for audits.

Identify and implement process improvements to support global finance team
efficiency.
What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role,
preference experience in an international environment (European companies).

Familiarity with diverse payment platforms.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Currently residing in Canada (required).

Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with European accounting systems
