The Opportunity
The English Language Foundations (ELF) program at SAIT provides English as an additional language (EAL) training and instruction to a range of English language learners across Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels.

Reporting to the Academic Chair, ELF, you will be a self-starter, have a passion for facilitating applied learning for others and lifelong learning. You will professionally facilitate the students' learning process and support students in achieving established learning outcomes to the maximum of their potential. You will make use of any and all available resources, methods, techniques and strategies to ensure student success.
Look forward to working collaboratively with colleagues to create a student-centered learning environment which is pedagogically sound, technically supported and innovative in nature. You must be able to demonstrate excellence in your communication and organizational skills, and you can function in a collaborative team environment. You will hold students accountable for Academic Integrity and will bring forward cases of suspected Academic Dishonesty.
Note: SAIT, as a post-secondary institution, serves a diverse student population. Therefore, instructional duties may occasionally be required during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. If selected, specific scheduling arrangements will be discussed between you and the leader.
