STATUS: Hourly – Bargaining Unit CLOSING DATE: 2025.08.25
SUMMARY: Reports to Paint Line Manager. Responsible for inspection of all paint line product to ensure compliance and quality to standard procedure.
ROLE:
Perform product and process quality audits on Painted Product
Inspect in-process and final products from the paint line
Report audit findings using quality documents where applicable
Interpretation of paint and weld procedure data sheets, work instructions, work orders and other manufacturing documents
Knowledge and application of welding symbols and engineering drawings
Knowledge and application of Paint line processes and inspection / verification techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years previous experience in inspection and quality environment
Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings and other manufacturing documents
Must have experience in quality inspection, audit and metal fabrication/powder coating processes
Computer skills are an asset
Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education
Fluent in English
VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift (7:00am-3:30pm)
RATE: $24.58
$24.83 - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
