GRF is currently seeking an experienced MRO Inventory Coordinator/DAF Operator for our day shift.
Day shift: 8 hours, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be required on some weekends.
GRF operates in a cold, fast-paced, and physical environment. Applicants must be comfortable working around meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
DAF Operator
Ensure effluent water meets the Region of Waterloo’s bylaw standards.
Regular handling of chemicals and chemical level monitoring/replenishment.
Clean and maintain the rotary screen.
Address and log abnormal discharges or operational issues with the DAF system.
Replace and repair pumps, valves, and pipes as needed.
Conduct housekeeping, including high-pressure washing of floors, walls, and pipes.
Lubricate and grease chains and bearings as required.
MRO Inventory
Pick and supply maintenance with parts as requested to minimize downtime
Ensure proper labeling, location tracking, and physical counts for stocked parts
Collaborate with Purchasing, Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance Planner to ensure accurate cycle counts and product information
Receive, unpack, verify and store maintenance parts
Maintain a clean and organization warehouse.
Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance purchaser, planner, supervisor and manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in water/wastewater treatment is preferred.
The individual must have a high level of mechanical aptitude.
The individual must be able to work independently and follow SOPs and GMPs.
Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
The successful candidate must adhere to PPE requirements and maintain a safe work environment.
The successful candidate must be able to operate a fork truck safely and pass the forklift training program.
Wages and Benefits:
$27.69/hr to start, increasing to $28.85 upon successful completion of the training period.
